This delicious Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is the perfect way to use up ripe bananas!

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl using a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter until combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt until evenly distributed.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Gently stir in the flour until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60–65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

- For best results, use overripe bananas for added sweetness and moisture.
