Description

A creamy and dreamy dessert made with bananas, marshmallows, and whipped cream, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare Bananas: Peel and slice the bananas into thin rounds. Set aside.
  2. Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until soft peaks form.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Gently fold the marshmallows, cherries, strawberries, and half of the graham cracker crumbs into the whipped cream. Mix until well incorporated.
  4. Assemble the Dessert: In a large serving bowl or individual cups, layer the dessert by alternating between the banana slices and the whipped cream mixture.
  5. Top the Dessert: Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumbs and shredded coconut on top for added texture.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

Notes

  • To prevent the bananas from browning, you can drizzle a little lemon juice over them before assembling the dessert.
  • For a richer taste, try substituting half of the heavy cream with cream cheese.
  • Add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for a spiced twist.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar based on your preference.
  • For an added crunch, consider incorporating chopped nuts like pecans or almonds.
