- 1 sheet crescent roll dough
- 1/2 pound ground breakfast sausage
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon butter or oil
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan. Roll out the crescent dough and press seams to form one crust. Create a slight edge around the border.
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Leave about 1–2 tablespoons of grease in the pan.
- Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir to coat. Slowly add milk while stirring. Simmer until thickened, about 3–5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- In another pan, melt butter and scramble eggs until just set. Season lightly.
- Spread sausage gravy evenly over crescent dough. Top with scrambled eggs, then sprinkle both cheeses on top.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
