A delicious creamy soup made with chicken and smoked beef.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast or thighs
- 1/2 cup crispy smoked beef strips, plus extra for garnish
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup cream or milk for extra smoothness (optional)
- 4 cups chicken broth (low sodium preferred)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives, for garnish
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a boil.
- Add the cooked chicken, smoked beef strips, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheeses are melted and well combined.
- If desired, stir in the cream or milk for extra smoothness.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions or chives and extra smoked beef strips.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, reduce the amount of chicken broth.
- This soup can be made ahead of time and reheated.
