Delicious and cheesy pulled pork sliders that are perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups pulled pork (cooked)
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Pulled Pork: If not already done, prepare pulled pork by slow cooking pork shoulder with spices and barbecue sauce until tender. Shred the meat.
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Assemble Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half and lay the bottoms in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Distribute the pulled pork evenly over the bottom halves of the buns. Drizzle barbecue sauce over the pulled pork. Sprinkle both cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the pork.
- Add Bun Tops: Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.
- Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Brush and Bake: Brush the tops of the sliders with the butter mixture. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Final Baking: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Cheese Variation: Try adding different cheeses like pepper jack for extra spice.
- Herb Butter: Infuse the butter with fresh herbs like thyme for additional flavor.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
