Description

Delicious and fudgy chocolate brownies that are easy to make.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (sifted)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Preheat oven to 350F.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract together.
  4. Add the eggs and mix until well combined.
  5. Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder and cocoa powder then mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts (optional).
  7. Transfer the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool and cut into squares, then serve.

Notes

  • For an extra fudgy texture, do not overbake.
  • Serve with ice cream for a delicious dessert.
