Description

These roasted cabbage steaks are deliciously crispy and seasoned to perfection, making a perfect side dish or a light main course.


Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage, cut into 1-inch thick slices
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place cabbage steaks on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown and crispy.
  6. If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle over cabbage steaks in the last 5 minutes of baking.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
