- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 7 slices pineapple slices (canned, drained)
- 7 maraschino cherries
- 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs (large)

- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour melted butter into the bottom of a baking pan and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.
- Arrange pineapple slices over the sugar mixture and place a cherry in the center of each slice.
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions using eggs, oil, and water.
- Carefully pour batter over the pineapple layer and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
