Description
A delicious mixed berry sauce made from frozen berries, perfect for topping desserts or pancakes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups mixed berries (frozen, 200g)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan over a medium/low heat and stir well.
- Allow it to boil for about 5 minutes, stirring often to stop it from scorching.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer and bubble for 10 minutes. It will thicken further as it cools.
- Serve warm or allow to cool and store in a sterilised jar in the fridge for up to 5 days (or freeze for up to 2 months).

- Store any leftover sauce in the fridge or freezer for later use.
- This sauce is great on ice cream, pancakes, or waffles.
