- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add steak bites to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside to rest briefly.
- Add butter to the skillet, scrape up browned bits, and let it melt over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add zucchini to the skillet and cook for 3–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together to coat with the garlic butter.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the steak is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
