Description
This honey garlic salmon recipe is easy to make and packed with flavor!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces salmon (fillets in the same size so they bake evenly)
- 2–3 tbsp hot honey (to use at the end)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp ginger (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
- 1/3 tsp paprika
- 1/3 tsp granulated garlic (or garlic powder)
- 1/3 tsp coriander
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (depending on how hot you want it)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.
- Place the salmon pieces in a baking dish and spread 1/2 the sauce over the top. Cover the baking dish with a lid or cling film and leave for 15 minutes.
- Heat a frying pan and place the salmon, skin side up, fry for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
- Then place the salmon in a baking dish with skin side down and spread the remaining sauce over the top.
- Bake for another 12-15 minutes or until it becomes flaky. Remove, drizzle hot honey over the top and serve.
- If you want to skip searing in a pan, put into preheated oven at 400 instead and bake for 10-11 minutes, until flaky.
Notes
- This salmon cooks best if all fillets are of similar size for even baking.
