Honey Garlic Salmon

Description

This honey garlic salmon recipe is easy to make and packed with flavor!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces salmon (fillets in the same size so they bake evenly)
  • 23 tbsp hot honey (to use at the end)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1/3 tsp paprika
  • 1/3 tsp granulated garlic (or garlic powder)
  • 1/3 tsp coriander
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 12 tbsp hot sauce (depending on how hot you want it)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.
  3. Place the salmon pieces in a baking dish and spread 1/2 the sauce over the top. Cover the baking dish with a lid or cling film and leave for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a frying pan and place the salmon, skin side up, fry for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
  5. Then place the salmon in a baking dish with skin side down and spread the remaining sauce over the top.
  6. Bake for another 12-15 minutes or until it becomes flaky. Remove, drizzle hot honey over the top and serve.
  7. If you want to skip searing in a pan, put into preheated oven at 400 instead and bake for 10-11 minutes, until flaky.

Notes

  • This salmon cooks best if all fillets are of similar size for even baking.
