Description

Delicious rolls made with cottage cheese and cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add cottage cheese and melted butter; stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough briefly until smooth and roll it out into a rectangle about half an inch thick.
  4. Spread melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Roll tightly from one edge to form a log, pinch the seam closed, and slice into one-inch pieces.
  6. Place in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, you can mix some cinnamon and sugar to sprinkle on top before baking.
