Description
A delicious creamy dip made with chicken, cream cheese, and a blend of spices.

- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1 can diced green chiles (4 oz)
- 8 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese (Monterey Jack & cheddar blend)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- Let chicken cool slightly before shredding into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, and half the cheese until well combined.
- If using cilantro, stir it in now; adjust seasoning as desired.
- Transfer mixture to an oven-safe dish; sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with tortilla chips.
Notes
- This dip is great served with tortilla chips or as a filling for tortillas.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less garlic powder and onion powder.
