Description

A delightful mini pizza dish, perfect for appetizers or snacks!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
  3. Prepare the Muffin Tin: Lightly grease a muffin tin with olive oil. Press each flattened biscuit into the muffin cups, pressing them firmly against the sides and bottom.
  4. Assemble the Pizza Bites: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each biscuit cup. Add a few mini pepperoni slices on top of the sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top, filling each cup generously.
  5. Add Final Touches: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the mozzarella. Lightly drizzle with olive oil and season each with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bake: Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Cool and Serve: Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Carefully remove each pizza bite from the muffin tin. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
